| Introduction | They say that each moment in your life is a snapshot... a slice of time. Things are always changing, and the landscape looks inevitably different from one second to the next. There are many facets of me, and in any given moment or slice of time, you might catch me dabbling in paint, working on my book, giggling with my kids, holding sacred space for wild women, or planning my next big adventure. These are the things I prefer to define myself with. And yet, there's this other part of me too-- the one who over the years grew to consider herself an athlete, and now is on the long and arduous journey of healing from chronic lyme disease... the type A Taurus control freak who had big, big plans, and now is learning all about taking a step back to tend to her body in gentle ways, receiving the help of others, moving with flow and grace amongst uncertainty, and letting go. This blog is about giving that part of me a voice.... |
