Introduction Leonor Tomero is the Director for Nuclear Non-Proliferation at the Center for Arms Control and Non-Proliferation. She has worked on nuclear non-proliferation and nuclear waste issues in various capacities including at the Lawyers Alliance for World Security and on Capitol Hill in Senator Harry Reid’s Office and on U.S. Rep. Shelley Berkley’s staff. She holds a J.D. cum laude from American University, a Master’s degree from Georgetown University and a Bachelor’s degree from Cornell University. Leonor is a Senior Fellow at the Institute for International Law and Politics at Georgetown University.
