| Introduction | This website was made for one purpose, focus. After over 9 years of a debilitating illness, I needed focus on something besides me, so, naturally, I chose to blog. There is nothing narcissistic about blogging, is there? Actually, my intentions were slightly more noble than just writing about the ins and outs of my daily life. After contracting Disseminated Neurological Chronic Lyme Disease in September 2007, which keeps me in constant unending pain and on morphine every 3 hours, and then in April 2008, finding myself stranded in a wheelchair from that disease...onto enduring a complete Mastectomy of my left breast in December 2009, where a 3 1/2 lbs, triple-negative tumor was removed, and yes, I did say pounds...it finally occurred to me, I might have something to share. Believing in the body's God-given ability to heal, we chose to use the Gerson Therapy. I am six years in with clean cancer numbers! At times I felt so alone and like I was the only one walking through my own personal hell; it just might help others who are living in their own. |
