Introduction A career Foreign Service Officer and political-military specialist, Robert retired from the Department of State after 30 years, that included posts on three continents and in the Office of the Secretary of Defense. Now he works on US Army training exercises, serves as Provost for the Reenactor Command and Staff College offering a period-appropriate officer's education, and participates in living histories and reenactments. He is a graduate of the Command & Staff School of The Naval War College and of the School of Armor at Fort Knox, Kentucky (Armored Scout/Observer).
