| Introduction | I hate writing these. I never know what to put first; if I write about being a mom first, does that diminish my role as a wife or my accomplishments in my career? Let's suffice it to say that at 32 years old, I love my family (husband and 4 kids), and I have a wonderfully fulfilling career as a scientist with aspirations of greatness. The fertility gods have blessed this uterus of mine, though they missed the memo that 4 is plenty for this family. I got one back that said "Psssstt... Ever thought that maybe someone else could use it?" So here we are, setting out on a stork adventure, because life is short and we should share the blessings that have come our way. |
