| Introduction | I have had amazing experiences in my life, all of which have brought me to where I am now. My teenage son and I share a small house, blue eyes, and curly hair, though his is it's natural color while mine just might not be. I have learned to be organized where it matters most, though neatness isn't my strength. I make my bed every morning, make one good strong cup of coffee, and usually face the day with a the-glass-is-half-full attitude. That is, unless I wake up struggling with life in almost bankrupt California, life as an educator when cuts to education are drastic, or the challenging life as a full time single mom. Then I am cynical and irritated and want people to grow up and be responsible. I'm grateful because it seems my friends love me exactly the way I am. Part hippie chick, part conservative mom, part techy wannabe, I have an eclectic life and lifestyle. And I want to tell stories and give my opinion. So here I am. |
