| Introduction | A big picture thinker/analyst/grand-strategist on geopolitics, security & governance; exceptional record of anticipating futuristic political-security risk scenarios in major global theatres; proven ability to conceptualize most effective strategies/responses; A former Joint Secretary of Govt of India who served for nearly 26 yrs with Cabinet Secretariat & Ministry of External Affairs; As hands-on doer & leader, handled wide variety of complex geopolitical-security issues & acted as innovative solution architect; Has engaged statespersons/ leaders/opinion shapers across genres to pursue/build peace & security in complex theatres; Pre-service exposures of nearly a decade in student politics, brushes with civil society activism, media & private sector along with academic research degrees in “Defence & Strategic Studies” & “Diplomacy”, besides many published papers, have shaped his outlook.
