| Introduction | I'm a writer with Obsessive-compulsive disorder. As a result, I have a highly efficient workspace that I sometimes don't get round to putting to good use because I'm too busy making spreadsheets that document how I'm going to put it to good use. When I can get past that sort of nonsense I tend to concentrate mostly on contemporary fantasy as a genre, although I've been trying to branch out in other directions with a few different projects. Results tend to vary. I'm slightly annoyed that I still have a day job, and sometimes wonder if that will ever change. Not that I'm impatient or anything. Working hard is it's own reward, as they say. It's not as much of a reward as fat piles of cash, but you have to look on the bright side. I'm not a natural people person and I suffer terribly from Foot-in-Mouth Disease, but I try hard and if you can talk to me about Optimus Prime or Tolkien without being sneery or derisive I'll be your friend for at least fifteen minutes. |
