| Introduction | Ken Perlstein is a New York-based actor, writer, and comedian whose career brings together theater, television, film, and stand-up comedy. His work highlights a strong focus on storytelling, blending both comedic and dramatic roles with an attention to character that defines much of his artistic journey. He grew up in Ann Arbor, Michigan, where he studied acting and directing at the University of Michigan. In 1994, he moved to New York to further his entertainment career. His first industry opportunity came as an NBC page, providing him with firsthand exposure to television production and offering valuable lessons about discipline and professionalism in the craft. Ken later pursued and completed his MFA in Acting through The Actors Studio MFA Program at The New School. During this time, he trained with members of The Actors Studio and developed his skills under the guidance of experienced professionals, strengthening his foundation as a performer. On stage, he has performed in well-regarded productions such as Laughter on the 23rd Floor and Lost in Yonkers. |
