About me

Introduction I last worked for the Globe in 1969. I delivered the Boston Evening Globe, first edition. I didn't read it though, Dad used to bring home the Closing Stocks edition after buying it before he got on the train. The closing stocks edition would have about 4-5 innings of an afternoon game on the front page. The innings before the edition rolled were black on white. The "chasers" were white on black. IT was 65 cents for the Evening Globe plus the Saturday morning paper. Nobody got the Sunday Globe delivered because everyone bought it outside church.
