| Favorite Movies | I like all kinds of movies in all kinds of genres , and times. Some of the classics for me are House of 1000 Corpses , Devil's Rejects , The Shining , and The Exorcist Part 3. And then of course , there is Donnie Darko. I am absolutely fascinated by the idea of time travel and the ethical questions it implies. No , I don't only like horror movies , though a lot of the movies I like are horror movies. I like my movies like I like my books , or anything else , to the extent that they elucidate the human condition. |
| Favorite Music | Where to start? I love the 80s , the Oldies , the 90s , everything , though it does seem to me today that there are no men in music anymore. You know someone like MIck Jagger. I could be here all day listing everything I like to listen to. Just to start , I love Jim Morrison and the Doors , Mick Jagger's the Rolling Stones , Guns and Roses , Queen , Slayer , Metallica , Garbage , the Bangles , Blondie , the Pretenders , etc. Againn , I have a big range in the kind of music I like. I just downloaded some Dean Martin and Al Martino. |
| Favorite Books | Again , where to start. Lately I've been very 'superficial' in what I've been reading. I'm reading a book about Marvin Miller right now. I've been very focused on sports lately if you've read my blog you know this. But , of course , in discussing books , it all starts with Plato and The Republic. His quest to find a republic that a philosopher can flourish in continues. |
