| Introduction | Jason and I have been married since 2003. We have 4 awesome children Charlene (Charly), Carter, Caelyn and Carissa. Our roots are planted here in Iowa but we really miss all of our family that is scattered from Washington to New York. I use this blog to keep family updated and to record the joys, the mishaps, the lessons learned as we work together as "Team Thrap." |
| Interests | We enjoy golf and can't wait til the kids are old enough to participate. Jason sings at church. Elise likes to scrapbook when she has the time and the money. She also just got really involved in Crossfit and has the family eating healthy. Charly is always reading and singing. Carter likes anything that looks like a ball and loves anything he can squish, beat, or rip apart. Caelyn, is a princess and will play with her little princess dolls all day long by herself if we let her. Carissa is in love with all of our stuffed animals and loves to get everyone's attention with her big blue eyes and smile. |
| Favorite Movies | Thanks to the kids, we watch Disney movies A LOT! Along with those other sweet Dreamworks movies like Shrek, Dispicable Me, and Hotel Transylvania. Jason and I like anything with Will Smith especially "Pursuit of Happiness" and "Hitch." |
| Favorite Music | We listen to anything and everything: church music, pop, country, ect. |
| Favorite Books | Jason is always reading self improvement books that help him in the finance industry and motivational books for salesmen. Elise doesn't read a lot but recently read the "Twilight" series by Stephanie Meyer and liked it. Charly likes "Sneeches" by Dr. Seuss and Carter likes any book he is allowed to rip apart. Caelyn loves to read anything with a princess in it and Carissa loves to read anything that has cool things to touch. |
