| Introduction | Artist, Freelance Writer. All of the pen and ink designs you see here are available at my online store at www.ArtByAlida.com |
| Interests | I want my art walking down the street, not hanging on a wall. My artistic influences are Andy Warhol, Peter Maxx, R.Crumb, and Leonardo Da Vinci. |
| Favorite Movies | "Mr. Smith Goes To Washington" - Oh, how I wish our government really operated that way. I consider this movie to be in the fantasy category. "The Wizard of Oz" - I need a new heart. (Could use some new brains, as well.) "Oh, Brother, Where Art Thou" - Didn't think Hollywood could still make a good family movie with darn good music anymore, did ya? And just for kicks, I love to watch Hindi movies made in Bollywood. They don't have lots of sex and violence in them, and they do have lots of music and singing and dancing. |
| Favorite Music | Bluegrass, Newgrass, Indie, World, Classical, and everything in between. |
| Favorite Books | Advice to Artists (by Leonardo Da Vinci), A Coloring Book (by Andy Warhol), comic books by R.Crumb, The Four Agreements (by Don Miguel Ruiz), the Bible, the Qur'an, and Siddartha (by Herman Hesse). I could go on forever, but you get the general idea. |
