About me

Location Eugene, Oregon, United States
Introduction Tracy and Tom have been raising Shetland sheep since moving to their 10 acre farm in 2000. We fell in love with the little sheep not only because of their size but also their lovely wool and variety of colors. We love their quirky personalities and that they wag their tails. We sell wool to hand spinners and a few sheep to fellow spinners, breeders, and those who just want some pet sheep to mow their grass. Our goal is to keep the flock to about 20 sheep. As we have such a soft spot for them we shall see how we do with that. Falling in line with the theme of our farm, in 2010 Tom began fabricating a most wonderful spinning wheel based on the design of Oregon resident Magnus Drudik. Tom was fortunate to have the master himself, Mr Drudik, train him on the basics of building this high functioning wheel. Tracy, a long time spinner, happily finds her place in the business as product tester. How lucky we are to have found such an appreciated craft in this modern age.
