About me

Industry Non-Profit
Occupation Consultant
Introduction As a result of more than 20 years in the non-profit and philanthropic sector, I have a strong background in both international programs and philanthropy, and I am able to offer specialized skills in management and development of community-based, grassroots, and Latino-led/Latino-serving organizations, international philanthropy, participatory education and grassroots health programming, marketing, grant proposal development and prospect research, and mission development. I bring my experience as the executive director of Centro San Bonifacio, as the executive director of the Chicago Global Donors Network, and as a director on numerous community boards and steering committees to the projects and organizations I serve. I specialize in assisting immigrant and women’s organizations, health and human services institutions, youth organizations, and international communities in the U.S., including programs involving diaspora donors. I speak, read and write Spanish fluently, and hold a Masters in Public Health and an MA in Latin American Studies, as well as a BA in English, from the University of California, Los Angeles.
