About me

Introduction	I'm a 37 y/o accountant, married with children. My amazing wife and daughters are the most important thing to me, but other than them, my main interests are: fitness, zen, martial arts (primarily karate in terms of practice, but all budo for study), Japanese (language, tattooing, food, etc etc), playing and listening to music (mostly metal), and business (especially how to create an environment where people can fulfill their potential in a way that maximizes both their quality of life AND shareholder value). I'm also interested in recognizing patters in one environment and trying to transplant them into another, ie the discovery and application of universal principles (ergo the name of this blog...).
