| Introduction | I am a Wife, Mother, Friend, Freelance writer and Daughter of a parent with Dementia. I live in Brighton, Ontario, Canada. I have been a caregiver and writing about caregiving for almost twenty years. First, to my own two great kids and a host of other children too. I am the founding editor and former publisher of the London, Ontario publication "The Mom & Caregiver" and www.themomonline.com. Now as it happens in life, I have become a new kind of caregiver - the caregiver of my mother, who after a sudden turn for the worse now lives in our town in a nursing home.
