| Introduction | I am a designer maker/tutor living and working in the South West England. I studied weaving, photography and printmaking at Bath Spa University and the History of Textiles and Dress at Winchester School of Art. Weaving has ancient roots which I combine with modern techniques and materials to produce sumptuous cloth. I like my weaving to be unique so often hand dye luxury yarns before weaving with them. My inspiration comes from nature, historical textiles, stained glass and the world around me. I enjoy the challenge of making items which will give pleasure to the people who wear and use them. I enjoy sharing my love of weaving with everyone. I am a member of Frome Creative Network, Newsletter Secretary of Textile Forum South West, a member of the Online Guild of Weavers Spinners and Dyers (UK) and of the Textile Society. |
