| Introduction | Wife, mother, grandmother, I am a nurse by trade, but find myself a wannabe cook, gardener, DIYer and rescuer of all homeless dogs. If you are wondering where the title of this blog came from, read on- A few years ago the founder of the company I worked for visited my clinic, in an effort to impress him with my professional accomplishments, I spent 20 minutes outlining the clinic's successes and changes I had implemented. I found out later that his only comment was that I reminded him of a "well preserved beauty queen". It has long since been a standing joke amongst my coworkers. |
