| Introduction | In third grade I was fooled by an Encyclopedia Brown story (children's short stories where they have to be the detective and solve the mystery). I was so upset by this that two years later we were told to solve a nearly identical story in class I remembered it very clearly. I answered very quickly and for a split second felt that I had been vindicated until I realized that I had not in fact solved the riddle but only remembered the answer from before. I felt like a fraud. |
