| Introduction | Sam Shamsi, PhD, PE, F.ASCE, GISP - Dr. Shamsi is the Wet Weather Practice Leader, Northeast at Jacobs. Considered a national wet weather modeling and GIS expert, he has directed GIS department for a consulting firm and taught GIS courses for several universities, ESRI, AWWA, and ASCE. He has served as a member of the GIS Committee for ASCE and WEF. His accomplishments include over 20 years of GIS experience; over 25 GIS projects, 10 GIS guest lectures, and over 50 GIS publications. He has authored two GIS books one of which is a best-seller. Dr. Shamsi is a Certified GIS Professional (GISP). His professional interests include GIS applications for water, wastewater, and stormwater systems. |
