Introduction	I started in ministry back in 1972 with Youth for Christ, and from there God opened the door for me to serve as a Youth Pastor, Associate Pastor, and eventually a church planter, founding a thriving church in Silicon Valley. Along the way, I was an honored history scholar at the University of California and also studied at Fuller Seminary. I was ordained in 1979, and ministry has been my life’s calling ever since. When I retired in 2014 and moved to Yelm, Washington, I was content to step away from church leadership. But the church I was attending—Crossroads Community Covenant Church—invited me to come out of retirement and join their staff as Associate Pastor, where I still serve today. Most recently, I’ve published a new book called Maximum Possible Life.
