| Introduction | WHY LOUISIANA? God called me to the field of missions in New Orleans in 2006. He has shown me the need to help those affected by Katrina and He has brought me to this place "for such a time as this" (just like Esther was brought to the palace to fulfill God's purpose). My role is to minister to the emotional and spiritual needs of the people here in Louisiana and to help the EFCA Crisis Response Ministry further develop. We work with volunteers across the nation to do rebuilding in Louisiana. We will continue as a ministry as long as God keeps sending the helpers. I have been accepted as a long term missionary with the Evangelical Free Church and I'm in the process of raising my support for that full-time role. I quit a great job and sold my home to be free to do God's work. I welcome your prayers and partnership to be a part of this mission. |
