| Introduction | My passion for photography started in high school where I took a film beginner photography course. It died shortly after I realized I was mediocre at best and well this new hobby of mine was going to be expensive. It also didn’t help that I wasn’t a huge fan of my teacher. Then in 2009, I had my first child and in an effort to capture every milestone, smile, and moment I quickly discovered that most of my pictures were blurry and once she started moving, of the back of her head. So we upgraded to a decent point and shoot with some DSLR functionality and this worked for a while. Finally I upgraded to a Nikon D5100, and although I am far from a professional I am excited to add new lenses, skills and adventures with this camera. I enjoy meeting new families, couples and people capturing moments they can hold onto forever, which makes this gig even more exciting. |
