| Introduction | I would like to invite you to participate in reading and commenting on a book called, "Raising a Thinking Preteen" by Myrna Shure, Ph.D. It was the "preteen" part that first grabbed me, the "thinking" part that seemed like a good way to go. Sometimes parenting works like a well-oiled machine, sometimes like an oil slick! We none of us have "arrived" but we can all learn - especially from each other and our kids.
