Introduction In my youth I insisted on having gas when I went to the dentist. Mine used to turn the gas volume up full. It sent me deep into dream-world and the subconscious; he could drill away to his heart's content. Every time he spoke to his nursing assistant I would 'wake up' briefly to my surroundings, but be gone instantly after. I distinctly remember one occasion when in my subconscious 'I' was split into different parts of my body, or 'be-ing'. On one level I was aware that the dentist was operating on my tooth. Different levels of me were communicating with myself/themselves (?) and one was a blood vessel, or could have been the tooth, who in my state anxiously exclaimed "but it's bleeding!" - I could feel, in my dream, a river of blood escaping while the dentist was finishing up. Immediately thereafter another soothing part of me reassured me "Don't worry, he'll see it." Whereupon the dentist brought me back to my surroundings by saying to his nurse "Oh, hold on, there's a leak. Let me just sort this out quickly." And I went back to my subconscious 'trip'. Somewhere in our subconscious lies some remarkable potential. Potential that we've not yet harnessed.
