| Introduction | I’m a pragmatist and a peacemaker. I think black women all over the Diaspora need to get off of it support one another, and assume their ancestral place as natural leaders, speak-out and take second-fiddle to no-man but we all can co-exist and work-together. Bw have a legacy despite the obstacles, of oppression, racism and sexism to be strong and relevant. Bw thought-out the Diaspora needs to embrace the Isis within us all. Defining myself, as opposed to being defined by others, is one of the most difficult challenges I face-- Carol Moseley-Braun. That man says women can't have as much rights as man, cause Christ wasn't a woman. Where did your Christ come from? From God and a woman. Man had nothing to do with him-- Sojourner Truth. Success is to be measured not so much by the position that one has reached in life as by the obstacles which he has overcome while trying to succeed--Booker T. Washington. |
