Introduction | Sharon has always had a love for the written word. When she was a stay-at-home mom in the 70's, she loved working at her typewriter, and within a year she completed Victory Run, a young adult novel, and a non-fiction book, Lady on the Run. She received a degree in theology when she was sixty, proving that it's never too late to fulfill your dreams. Her novel, Lady and the Sea, will be ready for publication next year. Sharon and her husband, Rob, have a blended family of four grown children, four grandchildren, and a great-grandson. Their travels have included trips to Israel, living in Sweden for a year to attend Livets Ord Bible College; traveling on the Trans Siberian Railway from St. Petersburg through Siberia to distribute humanitarian aid and to share the gospel of Jesus Christ; and volunteering on a World War II ship, whose sole purpose was to transport Russian Jews from the Black Sea to Haifa, Israel. Born in Sumter, South Carolina, Sharon lived in southern California all her life, but in 2006 she happily returned to her southern roots to reside in South Carolina with Rob and their malte-poo, Popcorn. |
