| Introduction | In over a half century of living, my story has encompassed all the elements of romance, drama, comedy, intrigue, tragedy and adventure. I was born in Idaho to a basketball-playing, college-president father, and a cheerleader mother, who taught my brothers and I to love to learn. Married my high school sweetheart, graduated as an RN, battled cancer, raised six amazingly unique children, taught institute and seminary for 15 years, was elected to a the Bend-Lapine School Board while living in Oregon, served on various other boards in many volunteer positions, and supported my husband as he ran a Bank, all while writing in various capacities. Now all my children are married and living out of state…you raise children to be independent, to go off and do good things in the world, and then it is a bit bittersweet when they do. Life is much quieter up in Mountain Green. The many stories that have been roaming around in my head for years, I finally have time to put down on page and the characters have become my family. |
