About me

Introduction Those that know me, know that it isn't long between one idea tried and the next. I lay awake during the wee hours of the morning, thinking about little inventions that can make my life easier and then wonder how I can share them with others. After the birth of my second boy, and having enough of feeling bad about breastfeeding in public, I set myself on a journey to find a solution. I could not find one product on the market that allowed me to feed my baby discreetly without putting stuff over my head or his. So for my birthday this year, I requested a sewing machine and the rest you will see in my postings. The birth of the Modesty Mate came whilst down at the coast on holidays. Lincoln was desperate for a feed when we were walking back to our unit. At the time, I had a hand made spit up cloth that I used to tuck into my bra on both sides to cover my flesh as I fed him whilst we walked. When I got back to the unit I knocked up my first Modesty Mate with the built in arm band and when I used it it felt great so I knew I must be onto a winner...
