| Introduction | My name is Maryam and I decided to start a blog. I wanted to find a way to document the things I go through, whether good or bad. My father died of cancer coming up on 7 years ago and it seems as though all I've been going through is growing pains. Some of these growing pains are easy and other times it seems as though my world is falling apart (for that period of time). I went to cognitive therapy for my grief, which was helpful, but other life discrepancies showed their ugly face. For example: I have a bad habit of reacting, rather than responding. I'm hoping to show people with a similar experience that they are not alone and for those close to me to get a bit more of an insight into my life. There will be no particular order to my blog, it will be a culmination of experiences along my journey to the "light". I will also include workouts and nutritional information to help people that are looking for the mental and physical health benefit. Remember - it's all connected! Happy Reading! |
