| Introduction | My philosophy on writing poems is this, generally. In my life, I will experience something, and in that experience, I will feel a certain way or think a certain thing. I then either write down what I am feeling/thinking or a stretched out version of the thought/feeling. Occasionally, I will write a poem based on someone else's experience, not my own. I certainly would like some criticism on these, so if you notice anything, please let me know what I can do to be a better poet. Thanks a lot. |
| Interests | Poetry/writing, pretty much all outdoors stuff, singing, song-writing, Bible study, eating, humor, and anything else I can do to the glory of my God and Savior Jesus Christ. |
| Favorite movies | Gladiator, Braveheart, My Best Friend's Wedding, Singin' in the Rain, Lord of the Rings trilogy, a good portion of Disney movies (which I haven't seen in years), Dumb and Dumber, Robin Hood: Men in Tights, Monty Python and the Holy Grail (though it is crude in parts), UHF, Phantom of the Opera, and I just know I've walked out of movies within the last year, exclaiming their greatness, but who knows what they were. |
| Favorite music | The sound of water falling in the forest. (What? That sounds stupid? Well, it's not. You should listen to it sometime! Just go do that! It's amazing. So there.) I also like Derek Webb, a little bit of bluegrass, Allison Krauss, Bebo Norman, acapella stuff, choir music, musicals, and a very wide array of practically one song at least from any genre. My apologies for not being able to give specifics. I really do like a lot of stuff though! |
| Favorite books | Books are no good with all those words in 'em. All-time favorite must be the Bible (although I'm still working my way straight through it), Wild at Heart, Chronicles of Narnia, Knowing God, Your Disgusting Head, Silas Marner, and The Visitation is good so far. So many books, so little time. |
You forgot your mom's birthday! What can you make out of super glue and olive pits?
Peter Piper picked 8 woodchucks. I don't care what anybody says. And my aunt doesn't have that kind of money!
