Introduction | Present: I have an amazing life. I have 3 beautiful boys who keep me busy, grounded and grateful. I have everything I need and/or want. I own a real estate brokerage, yet I don't ever work a day in my life. I'll have to look up the quote about doing what you love and then never having to work. That's what I'm living. I "flip" houses with my husband. I love everything about it - except the time it takes. I'm sure my house would be stunning if I put as much time and effort into designing and decorating it ;) If you know me, you know that I work because I love what I do. I don't have to work at all really, but that's not my style. |
Interests | Future: I have a wishlist of hobbies. When I have the time, I will spend it doing: woodworking, refinishing furniture, playing guitar (with more than my current 3 chords), travelling (for pure leisure), and maybe open a salon/day spa or bar. Yes, those are my top two choices (aside from real estate)... and have been for a while. Back when I only had one child, I volunteered. I even took the boy with me. Some day I will do that again. |
Favorite Movies | I watch whatever my little boys are watching. Currently in major rotation: Scott Pilgrim vs. the World, Iron Man 2, Scooby Doo and Green Hornet. |
Favorite Music | I love music. I used to know what music was out there. Now, I'm keepin it real with Radio Disney - all.the.time. I would love to spend more time reacquainting myself with Sunny Day Real Estate, Pinback, Deftones, Fugazi, Beastie Boys, The Beatles, Palo Alto, Jimmy Eat World, Vanessa Carlton (no, not a typo), Placebo, Outkast, Mandy Moore, Ryan Adams, Incubus (don't judge me), Kings of Leon, Cold, Gorillaz, and anything that's come out in the past 5 years or so you think I'd like. |
Favorite Books | I admittedly hadn't read an actual book in years. I read TONS of news online. I read magazines. I may have read a Dave Ramsey book here or there. However, I recently bought an Ipod Touch (over the Kindle, because I have my hands full and there's no reading a Kindle while feeding a baby). I'm now reading about 3 books a week... granted, a lot of them are whatever silly novel is free on the Kindle store, but it's a start. I did actually buy "The Millionaire Next Door." I think everyone should read it. I think it's a great lesson in frugality. |
Please come up with a more appropriate name for the ringtoe:
What is a ringtoe? It sounds disgusting. If you mean "ringtone" then I'd like to keep "ringtone." You could just call it a "ring," but I'm one of those people who would rather say "Christopher" than "Chris," so I prefer "ringtone" to "ring."
