| Introduction | Grew up in a blue-collar, small town on the edge of Indianapolis. I gave the Air Force four years to change me from a pain-in-the-butt kid to a young man - they did what they could. Graduated art school, started as a graphic designer when copy was set with lead type, moved to advertising as an art director, then CD, then branch office GM and VP. Then moved to client side to run a graphic department, then Product Manager with 2,000 consumer SKUs. Spent the last fifteen years traveling to China six times a year helping US brands find factories to satisfy retailers' demands for 'China pricing.' Wonderful wife. Two great kids, one married to a great guy. I'm luckier than I deserve. |

Which do you prefer and why: whittling with soap or whistling with wood?
Whistling with wood. It would be fun to make wooden whistles. What good is a soap carving; unless you're trying to break out of jail.
