| Introduction | I fell in love with Alaska 11 years ago when I visited for the first time. I remember sitting on the plane ready to take off overwhelmed with this feeling that I was going to come back one day and make Alaska my home. A year later I met and fell in love with the man who is now my husband, and just so happens to be an Alaskan! We were married in 2001, and have been chasing adventures together ever since. Recently we have embarked on our biggest adventure ever. We are first time parents to a beautiful baby boy. With the birth of our son my husband and I both agreed the time had come for us to take the plunge and follow our hearts to Alaska. I started this blog as a way to document my adventures as a new mom living in the Final Frontier and to connect with other moms who share similar outlooks and attitudes about parenting and the adventure that is motherhood! Regardless if you’re a fellow Alaskan mama or fellow mama living somewhere in the lower 48 I hope that you can connect to some of my stories, find an answer about something you have been searching for or just visit for a good laugh. |
