| Introduction | Very few people know me well. That's not to say that I don't have a lot of great friends, but even my closest friends say I surprise them often. So, here are a few things you probably didn't know about me... 1. I grew up on a farm in middle TN. My parents still live on 100 acres that has been in my mother's family for five generations. 2. I'm a Deacon at my church. I attend Edgewood Presbyterian in Homewood (services at 9:30 every Sunday), and two years ago I was ordained as a Deacon. I also sing in the church choir. 3. I play the French Horn. I actually studied music performance in college and have a degree in it. 4. I want to be a goat farmer. I got interested in cashmere goats after becoming an avid knitter, and as soon as I can purchase some land, I plan to get a few goats. 5. My husband is a potter. He makes stoneware full time. He also teaches classes in Leeds at a place called Cahaba Clayworks. Check them out! 8. I'm a total NPR Junkie. I listen to the quiz show every Friday night after work and Car Talk every Saturday morning, and I love All Things Considered. |
