| Introduction | Faizal Sidik was born in 1978 in Petaling Jaya, Malaysia. He lives and works between Kuala Lumpur and Petaling Jaya. He graduated from Universiti Teknologi Mara major in Fine Art (1996-2000) and further his studies in Master of Visual Art (Southeast Asia) Universiti Malaya, Cultural Centre under the supervision of Assoc. Prof. Redza Piyadasa (2003) and Master in Translation Studies at Universiti Sains Malaysia (2015-2018). Faizal has had numerous museums and galleries exhibitions. He was co-curator for 4th Singapore Biennale (2013) and curator for 1st KL Biennale (2017). |
