| Introduction | I have was lucky enough to have been born into the church; but, I have come to a knowledge for myself that the things I have been taught are true. The Holy Ghost has testified to the truth of many things in my life. It often comes as a burning within my heart. I know that the Book of Mormon is true and testifies of Christ. I have read it several times. We are all sons and daughters of God. He loves and knows each and every one of us. This knowledge has brought me much joy throughout my life, especially when I have gone through difficult times. This is the reason I have decided to serve a mission for the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints; because of Christ's love. I want others to know of this great joy. |
