Introduction	Linley Schetky and Ann Cavanaugh, two artists who have been recognized separately for their talents in metal and glass, respectively, have collaborated on the creation of a sculpture that combines their unique skills and visions into a single work of art. Linley and Ann, who are both represented by DragonFire Gallery in Canon Beach were presented with the opportunity to collaborate on a memorial sculpture piece by gallery owner Eeva Lantela. The sculpture would honor Eeva's long time partner, Mari Rockett, and would be named “Mari's Fire - metal and glass.” In addition, Linley and Ann have other collaborative projects are in the works, including a garden bench, which is a gift from the staff of Longview School district to honor Ann's retirement from education, and a bench for Eeva's memorial garden.
