| Introduction | IslandVision is managed by a volunteer working board. The board meets for a full day retreat in January of each year to elect officers, prioritize a work plan of projects and set the annual calendar. Following the retreat the board meets on a monthly basis to carry out the annual work plan of priority projects and communicate to our community positive news, events and actions that advance our mission. OUR MISSION: To encourage and support sustainable practices on Mercer Island, including consideration of environmental, economic and social equity issues, within our community, city and schools. |
