Introduction I am passionate about politics, which is why I launched the Worden Strategy Group (WSG), which assists candidates and companies in maximizing their media, outreach, and government relations opportunities. My experience includes managing two successful statewide campaigns, helping elect America’s first African-American woman state attorney general, and stints as parliamentarian of the Indiana Democratic Party and Marion County Democratic African-American Caucus, board member of the Indiana Stonewall Democrats, and Chair of the Hoosier Muslim PAC. I've served as Deputy Attorney General, run a solo law practice, and immediately prior to starting WSG, worked as district director for Congressman André Carson (D-IN7), one of the party’s senior whips and the Secretary of the Congressional Black Caucus. In late 2013, I relocated to Sacramento from Indianapolis, though WSG continues to operate there. I launched this blog to defend the Democratic Party brand, but also to be a voice to make the party better by calling it as I see it in the hopes that we can always live up to our stated ideals. I graduated from Wabash (B.A.) and Indiana University (JD/MPA).
