| Introduction | I'm a 30-something seemingly white woman on the Cherokee tribal rolls. I was raised in a half-Jewish, half-Protestant home in the Midwest. I'm married to a Mexican, and I converted to Catholicism in 2005. I have three brothers. And, I'm a former journalist turned marketing executive. My new career is raising our son. Now, I'm reporting the news from our home and putting my own spin on Viva Cuervo. He's a 40-something multi-lingual Mexican. He was raised in Mexico and south Texas. He's the oldest of four. A former sales executive turned photojournalist with an insatiable appetite for travel; his view of the world often comes from behind the lens. |
