Introduction Christine Nauman is an accomplished fine art artist working in oil on canvas for over twenty-six years. She combines a tonal palette with delicate brushstrokes applying numerous layers of oil depicting autumn and winter scenes depicted during the changing times of day. For her paintings of spring and summer seasons, she uses an impressionistic color palette and thickly applied oils in numerous layers. And, realistic still life paintings staged in her studio one winter month, similar to works of the 18th century Dutch Masters. To date, her original oil paintings have been acquired by over fifteen hundred private collectors. Many of these collectors around the globe remain in contact and acquisitions continue as patrons. Additional paintings are acquired through fine art galleries.
Interests Researching 16th - 20th Century British, French, Dutch, and American artists by reading and visiting museums that house their works. Also traveling to locations depicted in their paintings.
