Introduction The Kathmandu Animal Treatment Centre (KAT Centre) is a non-profit organisation dedicated to improving the welfare of Nepal's animals. The KAT Centre is humanely creating a healthy, rabies-free, non-breeding street dog population in Kathmandu. Our goal is to reduce the number of stray dogs in Nepal's Kathmandu Valley and eliminate rabies through: • Animal Birth Control (ABC) & Rabies Vaccination • Public Education: Teaching compassion and rabies awareness • Rescue & Treatment: For sick and injured street dogs and cats
