Introduction	Hello, my name is Michael. Starting on the 24th of June I will be taking part in a charity bike ride from Cairns to Karumba in the Far North. For the last couple of months our wonderful friends and family have helped us raise money which goes towards many different charities, including: The Royal Flying Doctors, Burns unit at the Royal Children's Hospital, Chidren's Services at the Carins Base Hospital, Child Care Centres and sports associations across Cape York, Cairns School of distance education, State primary schools inc. Mt Garnet, Mt Surprise, Georgetown, Croydon, Normanton and Karumba. Bec will be blogging as often as possible to keep everyone up to date on my progress.
