| Introduction | Kim Jacobsen is the Project Manager for Convention Services at the Grand Rapids/Kent County Convention & Visitors Bureau. Her responsibilities with the GRCVB include assisting conventions in Grand Rapids, building attendance at upcoming conventions, and managing projects for the CVB. Prior to her work with the CVB, Kim assisted in planning special events and promotions for Grand Valley State University and contributed to organizations relating to the Hospitality and Tourism Management Department. Currently Kim acts as an alumni advisor to HTM students at the university. She is also a member of the Project Management Institute and the PMI West Michigan Chapter. Kim graduated from Grand Valley State University with a degree in Hospitality and Tourism Management (Emphasis in Event Planning) and a minor in Business. |
