| Introduction | I graduated from West Texas A&M University with 30 hours in English as an undergraduate and an additional 21 hours of English on the graduate level. I have my master’s degree in Education, Curriculum and Instruction and a master’s degree in Education, Administration and completed my principal internship at Dimmitt High School. I was working on my Education Doctorate at Abilene Christian University, but I am in the process of looking for a new program that better fits my needs. I enjoy the challenges of education, working with teachers, parents, and students. I believe, if given the opportunity and proper environment, every student can learn and succeed as a productive member of society. I am ELA certified in grades 8-12 as well as hold my ESL Supplemental certification and have taught a combined 15 years in both college and high school. I began my teaching career as a teaching assistant at West Texas A&M University teaching both freshman and sophomore English in the classroom and online. |
