| Introduction | I'm a busy mom of three kids and I've snapped. I'm tired of being run over by them - not that they're anything but completely normal children - and I'm ready to step up my game and set my foot down. Inspired by Pamela Druckerman's book "Bringing Up Bebe", I want to work on principles that many French mothers call the "cadre", or frame. It's something my children desperately need, and something I desperately need to provide for them: a consistent, firm but loving framework. Also, we're learning to eat well, to be adventurous in our tastes, and to choose fresh, healthy options. No terribly hard and fast rules - just being mindful and loving REAL food instead of what comes in a can. Here goes nothing... |
