| Introduction | My chosen profession is homemaker. Being a wife, mother and homemaker is the best in my opinion. Eric and I have been married 35 years. We have 7 children (plus 6 spouses who are like our own) and 14 grandkids. Nothing brings more joy. But they're not inclusive of everything I am or want to do with my life. I love to read, write, think, entertain, teach, speak, dance, travel, clean out cupboards, organize (I'm such a detail person, lists all over the place-yikes), and I've had lots of opportunity to do them all. I'm a type A personality who loves people. I'm a certified scuba diver (maybe some day I'll do some-if only there weren't sharks). I'm independent(I lived on my own in Amman, Jordan in 2005 while Eric lived and worked in Iraq). That year I traveled throughout the Eastern world and shared experience with wonderful women who have reared families and kept homes in diverse cultures throughout the world. What an absolutely fascinating education. Speaking of education - I'm currently enrolled at BYU finishing up my bachelor's degree in writing. When I look back over the years there isn't much I would change and what needed to be changed I have. Life is good! |
