Introduction I am a certified nutritionist who believes that good health can best be realized through proper diet. Americans eat many of the wrong things, namely processed foods and cheap fats. The result is a litany of chronic and degenerative ills such as heart disease, cancer, arthritis, obesity, and immune and neurologic dysfunction. These diseases, rare three generations ago, now border on the epidemic. They shorten life and sap its enjoyment. The antidote is a diet that emphasizes "nutrient dense" foods. These include meat, dairy and eggs from pastured animals, wild-caught seafood, bone broths, and raw and fermented foods. These foods speak to the body's inner wisdom and eternal quest for peak health.
